Julian the Gentleman is an NPC.

Background

Julian was a man who fell in love with his Puppet Melody, who had awakened her ego. They attempted to escape Krat when the Puppet Frenzy broke out but she would be killed while protecting Julian. He refused to leave the city until he could reclaim her belongings, but the dangerous situation meant he could no longer access her body.

Story

Julian can be encountered at Rosa Isabelle Street. He asks Geppetto's puppet's help with reclaiming his wife Melody's possessions. After Geppetto's puppet finds out that Melody was a Puppet, he has the choice to Lie to Julian and say she left him a note saying she loved him. This will make him happy and he will give Geppetto's puppet the wedding ring he meant for Melody, telling it that he hopes that it'll experience true love someday.

Notes

  • Despite Geppetto's puppets claim that Melody left a note for Julian be labelled a Lie, it is revealed later on this was actually true. After Test Subject # tours Rosa Isabelle Street, he finds Melody's body and after reading her Ergo discovers that she did leave a note expressing her love for Julian.
