Background

Andreus was a revered figure in Krat who dedicated his life to serving the people of Moonlight Town. He came to be regarded by many as a living saint. When the Alchemists arrived to Krat, they offered to provide funds for the Cathedral and to help the town. While initially suspicious, Andreus accepted their help and both the Cathedral and town expanded greatly. Andreus began to turn a blind eye to the Alchemists' experiments and machinations as long as they supplied him with gold. Eventually, Andreus decided that he could no longer cooperate with the Alchemists and stole the Arm of God from them, intending to use it to expel them from the city. However he was unable to control it and was mutated into a horrendous monster, while most of the residents Moonlight Town were converted into Carcasses.
