Carlo Geppetto

Carlo Geppetto was the biological son of Giuseppe Geppetto.

Background

Carlo was the only child of Geppetto and Camille. They were initially a loving family, with Geppetto building the Puppet Rosaura to keep Carlo company. After Camille's death Geppetto began to withdraw and become obsessed with his work. Geppetto eventually sent him to the Monad Charity House so he could dedicate his time to his work completely. Carlo was fearful at first but was soon introduced to Romeo and the two became best friends. They both wanted to become Stalkers and trained with each other frequently. Carlo began to deeply resent his father for neglecting him and it came to a head when Geppetto failed to come to his graduation. Afterward Carlo gave his graduation necklace to Romeo instead of his father. The two of them would meet the Legendary Stalker during this time and asked her to train them. She initially refused but eventually relented and took the two on as apprentices. He and Romeo would both become skilled Stalkers under her mentorship. After his graduation he lived with Antonia at Hotel Krat and at some point sought to reconcile with his father, though Geppetto remained distant. Carlo eventually contracted the Petrification Disease and succumbed to it. Geppetto was devastated by this and strove to resurrect his son using Puppet technology.

Story

If Geppetto's puppet surrenders its heart to Geppetto, he will use it and the Arm of God to resurrect Carlo. Afterwards Carlo and Geppetto return to Hotel Krat and kill all the survivors there. Geppetto replaces them with Puppet replicas to serve Carlo, who stays at the Hotel while Geppetto leaves Krat to take care of other business.

• Carlo is named after Carlo Callodi, the original author of The Adventures of Pinocchio.
• Carlo played the piano, a skill that would be inherited by his Puppet replacement.
