Lumacchio

Lumacchio Pantalone was the leader of the Bastards.

Background

Lumacchio was a Stalker who joined the Bastards, eventually rising to become their leader. He became a well respected figure, with both Alidoro and Medoro thinking highly of him. Lumacchio contracted the Petrification Disease and began to secretly serve Simon Manus in exchange for a cure.

Overture

Lumacchio is seen at Hotel Krat, watching the entrance to the Zealator lab.

Lumacchio launches an ambush on Geppetto's puppet at the Shipwreck. He explains his that he's doing this all for himself and that he only desires to increase his own wealth and power. He and Geppetto's puppet then engage in battle. During the battle Lumacchio takes some of the Alchemist's cure in an attempt to strengthen his body. While initially successful, the medicine soon mutates him into a Carcass. Lumacchio panics as the transformation occurs and is left in disbelief at the turn of events. After he is defeated he begs Geppetto's puppet to take him to the Alchemists so they can reverse the transformation. If Geppetto's puppet decides to punish him, it'll simply execute Lumacchio. If Geppetto's puppet decides to leave him, it'll refuse to take him to the Alchemists and leave Lumacchio to his fate. Lumacchio dies soon after and leaves behind a note cursing Geppetto's puppet.
