Bastards
The Bastards were one of the two primary group of Stalkers in Krat, the other being the Sweepers. They served as guards for the Alchemists and the Workshop.
Background
The Bastards were a group of Stalkers largely formed from members of nobility that had been ousted from succession. They took on "Honor, or Nothing" as their motto. In order to make up for their lost inheritance, The Bastards started working with the Alchemists who brought newfound wealth into Krat. The Bastards had a fierce rivalry with the Sweepers, who protected the old families that were threatened by new wealth and power the Alchemists brought in. Their leader Lumacchio began to work even closer with the Alchemists after he contracted the Petrification Disease, taking orders directly from Simon Manus himself in exchange for a cure. Lumacchio was eventually defeated by Geppetto's puppet, leaving the Bastards leadersless. This led to the Bastards being devastated by the Puppet Frenzy shortly after and most of their members were killed.
